Okay, I think the majority of us can agree that most of the reality shows we love tuning into need to clean house as far as the cast mates. It's nice to think they may actually listen to the viewers when people tire of watching such toxic relationships (Real Housewives of New Jersey, anyone?). However, when the producers clean house in what appears to be an attempt to gain more drama, I'm not on board.
What do I mean? It seems that the folks at VH1 are getting rid of several ladies from Basketball Wives: LA while leaving the only two that despise each other in good standing with the show. I don't know how much Shaunie O'Neal has to do with Los Angeles franchise (if any of y'all know, please enlighten me), but given her penchant for drama and cattiness (you need not look any further than the original Basketball Wives to know I'm right), this has her name written all over it.

TMZ is reporting that four of the six "wives" will not be asked back for season three. On the chopping block? The Sisters Govan, Malaysia Pargo (noooo!), and Brooke Bailey. The mass firing is rumored to stem from Gloria Govan's recent Las Vegas wedding to Matt Barnes which was not filmed for the show…because she didn't tell them it was going to happen.
The site goes on to say that producers felt that Gloria taking off for a weekend trip to Vegas with Matt to get married (with sister Laura and friends in tow) was the ultimate slap in the face to VH1. Feeling incredibly disrespected by Gloria's actions, the producers felt that Gloria and the other women weren't letting "all of their reality be filmed."
A source reveals that the women haven't been given their walking papers just yet, so this is still all speculation, but it is alleged that producers are looking for four new ladies (I laugh every time I call them that!) to fill the vacancies. You realize what that means, right? We're left with Jackie Christie–it is HER show, after all–and her nemesis Draya Michele. This should be very interesting considering they can't stomach being in the same vicinity.
While I can understand the producers' anger at Gloria cutting them out of a major story line, it is her life. Matt refused to film this season, so it's only natural he wouldn't want a camera crew at their wedding. On the other hand, maybe this is just an excuse to try to stir up some controversy. The show hasn't been exactly killing it in the ratings. I don't want to speak for anyone, but I've grown rather bored with the formulaic nature of the series that simply revolves around multiple dinner and drink dates where they only talk about Jackie or what others are saying about her. Yawn. For now, I guess we'll have to wait and see, but if this is true, it will be interesting to see what happens. I'd make a joke about the producers hopefully finding real wives to take their place, but I will say this franchise at least as three (now that Gloria's hitched)…and that's way more than the original BBW!
Speaking of the original ladies, Tami Roman has just secured a six figure deal to endorse a diet product. According the the same site, Tami, who was tipping the scales at 185 pounds, began exercising, eating healthy, and using NV Sprinkles. The product is sprinkled on food as an appetite suppressant. Apparently, Tami was so taken with her weight loss (25 pounds in two months) that she kept hyping the diet supplement. It was at that point the company approached her to be a spokesperson. Um, I don't know about you, but if she's talking about it all the time for free, why not just let her keep doing so? You can send that endorsement deal money straight on over to me!
TELL US-DO YOU BELIEVE THE BBW:LA FIRING RUMORS? WOULD YOU USE A PRODUCT ENDORSED BY TAMI?
