Shocking new child abuse claims surrounding Kate Gosselin surfaced today. Reporter Robert Hoffman alleges the Gosselin kids have suffered extreme forms of discipline at the hands of their mother. And, he says, he has written proof.
Hoffman was an employee of the Reading Eagle, which is the local paper in Gosselin Land, until 2007. Hoffman later went on to write for US Weekly.
At some point, Hoffman and Jon Gosselin became friends, which allowed him access to their home. Now, Hoffman claims he found one of Kate's journals. With all this information in hand, Hoffman has written a tell-all book about Kate titled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, which Kate's lawyers are attempting to block from being published.
“I don’t judge somebody for spanking, but what Kate wrote in her journal is just absolute violence,” Hoffman says. "She was beating 2-year-old babies in diapers."

Hoffman claims that Kate kept detailed logs on her computer about disciplining her children, including yanking them by their hair and using a wooden spoon to beat them. Allegedly, Kate calls the spoon "The Spanker," and she uses it nearly every day. “The spanking entries are endless,” Hoffman claims.
According to Hoffman, these entries in Kate's journal came after three of the sextuplets ate M&Ms without asking first and Collin threw a temper tantrum, respectively:
“I really, really lost it! I pulled Collin up by the hair, and I spanked them so hard!”
“I sent him to his crib and whipped him into it very hard. I never felt that I may really seriously injure a child, but today was that day.”
