90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 Couples Ranked From Solid to WTF

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 is finally in full swing. With new couples, diverse cultures, and fresh drama, Season 6 is already going strong. This season love has no limits, and truly knows no borders. With two returning couples and four new ones, there’s something for everyone this season.

Season 6 highlights a mix of relationships. Each couple faces different struggles, such as language barriers, culture shocks, and impulsive moves. While some of the Americans seem content with their decision to move abroad, others do not. While all six couples this season are somewhat chaotic, some are more so than others. Here is our official ranking of The Other Way Season 6 couples, from the most solid to WTF!

Joanne and Sean – The Most Solid

Joanne and Sean are the most stable couple on Season 6 so far, despite limited screen time. Joanne is a mother of two kids, she was married for 11 years, and after she divorced. She and Sean met through Joanne’s psychic medium business when he requested a reading. Sean, on the other hand, is a mixed martial arts fighter from Drogheda, Ireland.

After Joanne found it hard to read Sean, she became more intrigued by him. Joanne and Sean had an instant connection and immediately fell for each other. However, their relationship has a big secret. Joanne is worried because she doesn’t tell anyone that they are already married. Despite this being a little strange, Joanne and Sean’s love is what ultimately led them to elope. Apart from their secret, Joanne and Sean don’t have any drama, so their relationship will likely last.

Shekinah and Sarper – Pretty Solid

Despite facing a few difficulties, Shekinah Garner and Sarper Guven are Season 6’s second most solid couple. After making their debut on The Other Way Season 5, Shekinah and Sarper reunited in Turkey during Season 6. Shekinah has applied for Sarper’s K1 visa to come to the United States but is waiting with him in Turkey until it’s approved.

Shekinah and Sarper are controversial among 90 Day Fiancé fans, in part because Sarper brags about sleeping with 2500 women. Nonetheless, he and Shekinah make an amazing team. The couple compliments each other well, and it’s evident that they truly love one another. Shekinah and Sarper are head over heels in love, and it would be a shock if their relationship doesn’t make it.

Corona and Ingi – Somewhat Solid

Corona Blakey and Ingi Hilmar are an interesting couple this season, who may or may not make it. Corona met Ingi at a party, and the rest was history. Ingi has had his fair share of women but explained that he’s never really been in a serious relationship. Corona has decided to move to Ingi’s home country of Iceland to make their relationship work and even gave up a spot in a prestigious midwifery program to do so. This could end up being a problem down the road, however, since Corona wants to get engaged, Ingi is not ready to do so.

As soon as Corona landed in Iceland, things started to go south. While Corona was pleased that Ingi brought her flowers, she felt their reunion wasn’t passionate enough. Furthermore, Corona feels worried about meeting Ingi’s family, as they have probably never met a person of color. Corona and Ingi seem to have a strong bond, but they are already facing many obstacles early on.

Statler and Dempsey – So So

Statler Riley and Dempsey Wilkinson are one of the rockier couples this season. After purchasing a camper van together, Statler decided to move to Europe to hit the road with Dempsey. However, before she left the States, Statler expressed concerns over finances. Statler was frustrated that she’d be working while Dempsey would have time to explore due to quitting her job.

After picking up Statler at the airport, Dempsey immediately noticed that she didn’t seem happy to be there. It’s strange that Statler wasn’t more enthusiastic to see Dempsey again, which points to trouble brewing in their relationship. Between disagreements over finances and Statler’s confusing attitude, this couple’s journey on Season 6 may not end smoothly. However, if the women can get on the same page, they may be able to work things out.

Josh And Lily- Not Solid

Josh and Lily met while using a language learning app, and later got married on a whim, Josh quit his job to move to China and start a life with Lily, which he felt bad about. After Josh got his Chinese visa, he was surprised to learn that he wouldn’t be able to work there for at least five years. As Lily pointed out, this puts a lot of pressure on her to provide financially. However, Lily is not frugal by any means and even has an elevator in her home.

Before he left for China, Josh admitted that he wasn’t sure why Lily would want to support someone like him. Josh joked that he is “no George Clooney”, and explained that he worries Lily might wake up one day and not want to be with him. On the other hand, Lily constantly annoys Josh by reminding him how much money she spends. Josh and Lily’s relationship isn’t on a good track, as they both seem to have a lot of doubts and concerns about it. It will be interesting to see how long Josh and Lily can keep their current arrangement going.

James and Meitalia – WTF

James Solis and Meitalia Tantri Solis’s marriage is all over the place, and so is their storyline in Season 6. The couple met online, and Meitalia later moved to the United States to marry James. However, after two years of living there, Meitalia was unhappy and wanted to return home to Indonesia. James agreed to move with her, which meant giving up his part in his family business. At the same time, however, James has been lying to Meitalia about wanting to have children.

Unfortunately for James and Meitalia, their move to Indonesia has been a disaster. Meitalia revealed that her father probably wouldn’t pay James for working for him, leaving them with no source of income. To make matters worse, the couple still has a hefty car payment in America. James and Meitalia don’t communicate well, and there is a huge disconnect between them. It will be a miracle if their relationship can survive their impromptu move to Indonesia.
