Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 has been one for the record books due to the interior issues. However, former chief stew Katie Flood thinks Bri Muller was in a bind when it came to dealing with the second stew, Elena Dubaich. The ladies have been at each other’s throats for a week now, and the drama all started over a Liverpudlian deckhand.
Katie Flood had similar issues with Elena Dubaich in the past
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Katie was asked how she would deal with the constant drama from both Bri and Ellie. “I don’t think Bri could have done anything better. From the get-go, she went straight to Ellie and apologized. I felt Bri’s apology was genuine,” stated Katie. The former yachtie was diplomatic as she shared, “It’s a really hard situation and how Aesha Scott was saying, she’s getting Ellie’s side and then getting Bri’s side. Katie added, “It puts you in a really weird situation because you don’t know who is telling the truth.”
Katie then dropped a mini bomb of her own, sharing, “I’ve actually experienced the same situation. Ellie used to work for me.” However, Katie didn’t go into further details, leaving fans to draw their own conclusions. Katie added: “It’s all about communication, and I would have just nipped it in the bud right at the beginning and told them to both get over it.”
The constant fighting between Bri and Ellie has really put a damper on the season. The two stews initially bonded during the first few episodes and seemed to be getting along pretty well. Sadly, Joe Bradley threw a spanner in the works after he hooked up with both women. As the drama saturated their professional lives, Captain Sandy Yawn was forced to step in and deliver an ultimatum. Honestly, haven’t these women heard of chicks before d*cks?
Below Deck Med is currently streaming on Peacock.
