Lisa Vanderpump ‘Broken-Hearted’ After Dad’s Death

Trigger warning: This article mentions suicide.

Lisa Vanderpump has been a force on reality TV since her debut on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She continued that success in her spin-offs, including Vanderpump Rules, Vanderpump Villa, and her current gig on Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. But, unfortunately, Lisa is again weathering the loss of a close family member.

Lisa shared a photo on Instagram of her and her father, John Vanderpump, on her Instagram. He resided in England. She captioned the photo, “I will miss you daddy …Broken-hearted. Rest in peace.”

Former Pump Rules cast member Peter Madrigal commented, “Sorry for your loss Lisa.” Lisa’s daughter, Pandora Vanderpump Sabo, added a heart in the comments. Even fans of Lisa’s shows, or her many restaurants, shared their condolences.

“My deepest condolences! At least you can grieve in peace! You [dont hve] to be around the mean girls! I remember how they treated you wth the loss of your mum and brother…,” one fan commented. Another user wrote, “Oh Lisa, I’m so sorry for your loss. You have some beautiful angels watching over you.”

In April 2018, Lisa’s brother, Mark Vanderpump, passed away from a drug overdose. Sadly, he took his own life. When Lisa returned to film Season 9 of RHOBH, she received no support from her co-stars. Lisa quit that season after being put through the wringer with the puppygate scandal.

Then, in June 2019, Lisa’s mother, Jean Vanderpump, died. She was 84 years old. Her death was unexpected and took a toll on Lisa. She decided to step back from VPR and take a break. That was something that she regretted not doing after Mark’s tragic death.

Reality Tea sends their condolences and love to Lisa and her family during this difficult time.
