Get ready Reality TV fans, July is not the month to get behind on your programs… July 2024 has a line-up of new reality shows almost as exciting as last July’s Barbie vs. Oppenheimer showdown. With eight new seasons premiering this month, it’s important to plan ahead. Luckily for you, we’ve put together a complete list of both new and returning shows coming to our screens next month. Let’s get into it!
Returning: 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 – July 1st
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 premieres Monday, July 1st. The Other Way is one of the most enticing 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs. The show follows several Americans as they move abroad for love. Season 6 will feature a diverse range of countries, which includes China, Ireland, Iceland, Indonesia, England, and Turkey. Will the six couples be successful or will the American partner struggle to adjust to their new life overseas?
Returning: The Bachelorette Season 21 – July 8th
The Bachelorette Season 21 will make its big debut on Monday, July 8th, so buckle up Bachelor Nation fans. Jenn Tran will be Season 21’s leading lady, and she makes history as the first Asian-American Bachelor Nation lead. After meeting a handful of suitors, Jenn will explore various relationships and hopefully fall in love. If all goes well, Jenn will hopefully get engaged to the man of her dreams at the end of the season.
New Reality TV: The Boyfriend – July 9th
The first reality series premiering in July is The Boyfriend, which will be released starting July 9th on Netflix. The Boyfriend will make history as Japan’s first-ever same-sex dating series. While living and running a coffee truck together, a group of men will have the opportunity to find their perfect match. Hopefully, all of these men can walk away with a fantastic new paramour.
Returning: Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 – July 11th
Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 will make its summer splash on July 11th, and it is sure to be fiery. RHOC will feature returning Housewives Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti. Season 18 will also introduce one new main cast member, Katie Ginella. We’re so ready for you RHOC Season 18!
Returning: Big Brother Season 26 – July 17th
Big Brother fans will be happy to hear that the newest Reality TV season will be premiering soon on July 17th. Season 26 will certainly be one for the books, as it will feature some crazy twists and turns. Big Brother has been around for some time now, so a new season is always something to celebrate.
Returning: Too Hot To Handle Season 6 – July 19th
Too Hot To Handle is the perfect summer Reality TV show, so fitting that its sixth season will splash onto our screens on July 19th. The concept of Too Hot To Handle is an interesting one, as it focuses on individuals who pursue casual dating relationships in the real world. Once the contestants arrive, they are challenged to connect with one of their fellow cast mates. They must learn to form relationships based on real connections, rather than intimacy.
New Reality TV: Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets – July 23rd
The end of July will also see the start of some fun Reality TV shows, including Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets on July 23rd. Villa of Secrets will feature eight celebrities, including former RHOA star Kim Zolciak. The eight individuals will stay in a luxury villa, where they will get to know one another. This won’t be an easy vacation, however, as the celebs will be forced to deal with secrets from the past.
New Reality TV: Wayne Brady: The Family Remix – July 24th
Last, but certainly not least, we have a newbie to reality TV. Wayne Brady: The Family Remix will make its debut on July 24th, and I’m hyped! Everyone knows the beloved television host Wayne Brady, but this new show will give viewers a closer look at his personal life. In particular, the reality series will document Wayne’s blended family, including his relationship with his kids and ex-wife. Blended families are common, so this on-screen representation is extremely important.
