Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is coming to an end, and Bravo just dropped a sneak peek of the finale. They teased a cringeworthy interaction between Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix, where Scheana is dead set on trying to convince Ariana that Tom Sandoval is working on himself. Ariana doesn’t want to hear it.
We don’t talk about Sandoval
In the clip from the finale, we see Scheana breathlessly explaining to Ariana how she’s trying to see the good in Tom after their messy breakup. Scheana genuinely believes that Tom is worthy of redemption, and she says she wants to give him a chance to work on himself. She told Ariana that she was hoping he was “changing and becoming better.”
According to Scheana, throwing away her friendship with Sandoval doesn’t feel right. She wants to remain friends with him and see if he’s truly on a “path of growth.” Ariana told Scheana to leave her out of it.
“Can you do me a favor?” Ariana asked. “Don’t talk to me about that path of growth.”
Ariana went on to say that after what happened between her and Sandoval, he doesn’t deserve to “breathe the same air” as her. She wants a clean split from this man, and she doesn’t want him in her friend group. You can’t blame her.
Of course, Scheana going to bat for Sandoval has been a recurring theme throughout Season 11. Even though he slammed her for being “the other woman” in the past, Scheana said that she just couldn’t quit him. In Season 11, Episode 14, she literally cried over her “good friend” Sandoval who she claims has always had her back.
Clearly, a friendship with Sandoval jeopardizes a friendship. The battle lines are drawn, and the VPR cast is forced to choose sides. We’ll see where they all land as Season 11 wraps.
