With the future of Vanderpump Rules up in the air, many fans are wondering if Scheana Shay and the rest of the VPR crew would ever make the leap to The Valley. The latter features former Pump Rules stars like Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute navigating adult life in their 40s away from the bright lights of Los Angeles.
During an April episode of her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, the Bravo OG dished on a possible switcheroo. “I don’t know about a complete switch. I mean, I’m very happy with where I am on Vanderpump Rules. And I would like to keep that going for as long as possible. But I love the crossovers,” she said.
Later, Scheana added that none of her costars work at SUR anymore, which was the premise of the show to begin with. However, she hopes “more content” will come from “the VPR cinematic universe in the future.”
Season 1 of The Valley is full of drama…
We’re only three episodes into Season 1 of The Valley, and the cast is already giving us much to talk about.
Nia and Danny Booko have expressed their frustration with Jax for pantsing the latter during a cast pool party in Episode 1. Later, Nia described the moment as “so frustrating” to Brittany, who seemingly brushed her husband’s problematic behavior under the rug.
“I love Brittany, but she was also just making all the excuses,” Nia told her husband, Danny, in another scene. “Like why?” she asked.
In addition to that, Jesse and Michelle Lally have announced their separation, which will be shown in the coming episodes. Before that, though, Michelle has to deal with a damaging rumor that Kristen spread about her allegedly being a “racist and a Republican.”
“I feel like an asshole that I have to say, ‘I am not a racist.’ And it’s because a crazy person didn’t want to feel attacked anymore, so she decided to attack me,” Michelle told producers during her confessional.
There’s more to come during Season 1 of The Valley, including Brittany and Jax’s fallout, Kristen and Luke Broderick’s relationship journey, and how the group will recover from the drama that’s ensued thus far.
Keep watching The Valley on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
