Paige DeSorbo is one Summer House star who always speaks her mind. Whether she’s proudly asserting that she “doesn’t clean” or defending her Southern Charm boyfriend Craig Conover, she lets her opinions be known. So when it comes to people questioning her relationship, Paige isn’t mincing her words with a response.
On a recent episode of Summer House, Craig spoke to Kyle Cooke about the future of his and Paige’s relationship. He was brutally honest about the possibility that they could break up. Craig explained that he knows he’s in a good enough place to move on from that in a healthy way. Kyle might have thought it was a red flag for the pair. However, Paige is applauding her man for his realistic outlook.
Paige likes Craig’s brutal honesty
In an interview with E! Online, Paige revealed she agreed with everything Craig said on the show about their future. “Yes, in statistics people could potentially break up. We have a higher rate because we do do long distance, but I think if we weren’t acknowledging that we would be really naive,” she explained.
In general, Paige likes Craig’s ability to talk about taboo topics or scary possibilities when it comes to their future together. “I was thankful that he said that because I feel the same way. I know he felt that way and so it honestly put me at ease,” Paige added.
Craig also doubled down in the interview on his outlook, claiming it comes from a place of not wanting to be “delusional.” “Just because we’re on TV doesn’t mean that we’re not going to deal with the exact same things that everyone else out there does,” Craig noted. “If we were to sit there and act like everything just works out every single time, I just think that would be dishonest. Obviously, we want it to work out.” It’s refreshing to see a couple be honest about the real possibility of a relationship not working out and not acting like it’s the end of the world. We can’t help but stan but Paige and Craig.
