John Janssen Accuses Shannon Beador of ‘Struggling’ Financially

The internet recently dragged John Janssen over his lawsuit against Shannon Beador. John alleged that Shannon came to him in a time of financial need to pay for a facelift. She allegedly received $40,000 via wire transfer and another $35,000 by way of a check.

These claims were met with skepticism given the cost of an average facelift. Online commentators accused John of thirsting after wealth and fame. The internet levied similar claims against John when he started dating Alexis Bellino, Shannon’s castmate.

Real Housewives of Orange County fans saw the relationship as a ploy from both parties to get some quick recognition. Such claims remain pure speculation. Now, perhaps to deter more speculation, John has released some of the details of his suit. But did he prove anything?

John says RHOC misrepresented his finances, and that Shannon is struggling

On March 27, RadarOnline came out with details on John’s lawsuit. John sought to dismantle the narrative that Shannon was the breadwinner between them. The suit explained that, after their breakup, “the two remained friends for a period of time. As friends, Mr. Janssen would often help Defendant in various capacities, and vice versa.”

The suit went on, “The ups and downs of the dating relationship between Mr. Janssen and Defendant were documented in the popular reality TV show ‘Real Housewives of Orange County.’ The TV show portrayed Mr. Janssen as financially dependent on Defendant, when in reality Mr. Janssen had a successful business career, and it was Defendant who turned to Mr. Janssen for financial support.”

The suit reaffirmed John’s claim that “In early 2022, Defendant, citing struggling financial concerns, approached Mr. Janssen and asked about receiving a loan from Mr. Janssen to pay for a facelift Defendant had planned. Mr. Janssen agreed to this request and subsequently loaned Defendant $40,000.00 via wire transfer on January 24, 2022.”

With cameras currently filming the next season of RHOC, some of this mess may be caught. Which, well fascinating for viewers, will certainly take a toll on those at the center of the storm.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is streaming on Peacock.
