The premiere of Happily Ever After? Season 8 had us on the edge of our seats from start to finish! The episode kicked off with the return of Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise, from 90 Day Fiancé Season 9. Emily and Kobe revealed that they were getting ready to travel to Cameroon, where Emily would meet Kobe’s family for the first time. With Emily’s parents tagging along for the ride, this storyline is sure to be an intriguing one!

Another big revelation from the premiere was the news of Mahmoud moving to America from Egypt. On The Other Way, Nicole struggled to adjust to living in Egypt and ultimately left to return home to Los Angeles. Mahmoud has now left everything in Egypt to move to America to be with his wife, but will things work out? Mahmoud is very set in his ways from his strict Egyptian upbringing, so America could be too big of a culture shock for him.

Rob and Sophie also surprised viewers with their relationship status during the premiere. After getting married, the couple moved to Texas where things quickly went south. Sophie ended up moving in with a friend after she discovered Rob’s online cheating had happened more than she initially thought. Will Rob and Sophie be able to put this problem behind them for good, or will it tear the newlyweds apart?

The Season 8 trailer promises entertaining drama

After the premiere, we are hyped for the rest of Season 8! The trailer promises a lot more intriguing drama, and we are ready!

The trailer teases Angela and Michael’s storyline this season starting in Nigeria, where he awaits news on his spousal visa. Angela and Michael have had a hard time in the visa department for years after their K1 application was denied. Will Michael finally be allowed to come to the United States? Or will this be the end of the road for him and Angela?

Ed and Liz also appear to be having time with their relationship in the trailer. It appears that Ed has cheated on Liz, as she cries about having to find something out from his friend. Ed looks guilty, which is no surprise as he is one of the biggest villains in the 90 Day Fiancé universe. It will be interesting to see if Ed and Liz end up getting married, or if they will call their relationship quits beforehand.

Finally, Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone also appear to have a compelling storyline this season. Patrick will travel to Brazil with Thaís, as well as his iconic brother John McManus, to finally meet his wife’s father. However, the trailer teases a huge fight between John and one of Thaís’ friends, which results in her throwing a drink at John. We can’t wait to find out what this is all about!
