At some point, Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules had to get interesting. We are still waiting on that but at least Lala Kent is teasing drama from the recently filmed reunion.
Lala, who has been a cast member since Season 4, doesn’t seem to be having the season she thought she would. Friends and castmates alike have rushed to Ariana Madix’s side after Scandoval, but Lala hasn’t exactly proven her support.
While she didn’t specify what exactly caused the drama, Lala revealed how emotional the reunion made her on a recent episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala.
“The truth is powerful”
According to Lala, she cried after filming out of frustration. Further, “It was emotionally draining in the moment. And I probably obsessed for, like, maybe an hour after it,” she shared. “Then just sheer relief. And when you have a purge like I had, and then everyone gets to see it. And then you are asked if you would change anything, and you get to say, ‘I stand by everything I said.’ It’s like the truth is powerful. It’s a weight lifted off. And I left going, ‘I don’t give a [bleep for an explitive] what anyone thinks. I’m free.’”
Consequently, it was Scheana Shay who tried to pull Lala out of her post-reunion funk and asked her to “go to the batting cages,” presumably to blow off some steam. “I was like, ‘I just want to go home. And regroup and cry.’ And then after I got a good cry out, because I tend to cry when I’m frustrated, I was like, ‘Let’s go, like, play mini-golf,’” said Lala.
Expect a dramatic ending
Additionally, the expectant mother-of-one noted that she “felt extremely relieved” after the reunion was over. She added that “it was very, very, very intense at the very end.”
“When I push things under the rug, at some point, I say things that I can’t come back from. And that happened at the finale of season 11. And that all is shown. It’s going to be — I think people will really enjoy the reunion. It was just an intense — one of the most intense I have ever experienced,” Lala concluded.
