The goddess of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix, has had quite the year since learning that her long-term partner, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her behind her back with her best friend, Rachel Leviss, but now we’re looking to her future. Viewers watched as she lashed out at the reunion, sharing how heartbroken and betrayed she was. Like many of us, Ariana was blindsided by the affair and was furious for having gone to bat for the two cheaters so many times.
But don’t feel too bad for the former bartender, as she came out of the scandal smelling of roses. Companies flocked to work with her for their ad campaigns, and fans rallied around her like never before. But when the dust settles, and Ariana has to stop riding the coattails of Scandoval, what will she do next? I’ve got some ideas.
Life After Pump Rules
Listen, I know it, and you know it, but I am pretty sure Vanderpump Rules will end after Season 11. The former fan-favorite series was on its last legs until Scandoval stepped in and gave them a reprieve. But Season 11 isn’t living up to viewers’ imaginations. Scandoval has played out in real-time, so most of us know exactly what is going on with recent episodes; they are just repeating themselves. So when the curtain falls, what can Ariana fall back on?
First, she has her sandwich shop, Something About Her. The WeHo eatery has yet to open, but fans are dying to bite into a hearty sandwich. With her partner, Katie Maloney, the two Bravo stars are looking to capitalize on their names and draw fans into the quaint shop.
Ariana could also consider becoming a spokesperson for some of the companies she has already built a relationship with. Why shouldn’t she continue to peddle Lay’s Chips or BIC razors? Frankly, she can rack in some major income through strategic partnerships.
More Broadway, Baby?
Like other Bravolebs before her, such as Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna, Ariana took her talents to the Big Apple. She agreed to play Roxie Hart in the famed Chicago for a limited-time run. Ariana is now a triple threat, thanks to her acting, dancing, and singing. Her reviews have been relatively good, with many critics agreeing that she makes it clear she is enjoying her time on stage and that her acting chops are better than expected.
So, could she make Broadway her new home if Vanderpump Rules ended? Absolutely. I don’t think we will see her in Hamilton or Wicked, but I could see Ariana in &Juliet, a narrative-speaking part, or maybe Frozen if Disney ever makes another show.
Ariana is already brushing up on her Shakespearean talent with roles in Lifetime movies, so I think a few agents would want to reach out for a screen test.
A Future With Daniel Wai?
Even though Ariana met Daniel Wai very shortly after Scandoval, and the two live across the country from one another, something about their relationship seems to work. Unlike Tom, Daniel supported her every step of the way when it came to her new endeavors, like Dancing with the Stars.
Ariana is acting like a whole new woman with her new beau, as she recently shared that Daniel had opened up her mind to having kids, because he would be a 50/50 partner. During a recent episode, Ariana noted, “I just think he’s opened my mind and opened my eyes to a lot of different possibilities that I could not see.”
Daniel’s first appearance on Pump Rules showed him via Facetime as he talked to Ariana about going back to TomTom for the first time. Clearly, the fitness trainer cares. So, could she start making a life with her new love if Vanderpump Rules was canceled? Yes! And she should.
If Ariana truly feels she has found a good match, then she should put all the effort she can into solidifying their relationship. While the cast is probably hoping VPR runs forever, at least now, Ariana has a few options and a bit more than $2,000 in her bank.
Vanderpump Rules is available to watch on Bravo, and stream on Peacock.
