The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne scored a special about preparing for her Las Vegas residency. During her spinoff, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde, the performer opens up about her marriage to Tom Girardi.
Viewers know that Erika is very protective of her son, Tommy, from her first marriage. Her RHOBH co-star Eileen Davidson learned that lesson the hard way during a cast trip to Hong Kong. Eileen, who was trying to defend Dorit Kemsley, made an analogy.
She said, “She didn’t kill your child.” Well, Erika blew up because her son works in law enforcement. The ladies made up, but that scene showed how much Erika loves her son.
Erika doesn’t think she will become a grandmother
Tommy, who still works in law enforcement, is a private person and has never appeared on RHOBH. Erika updated The Daily Dish on how her son is doing now. “He’s great. He’s really good,” Erika said.
So, does Erika see kids in her son’s future? “We’ve never discussed that. I don’t think that’s part of his journey,” Erika explained. I would love to see Erika as a grandma.
In a previous interview with The Daily Dish, Erika explained what her relationship with her son is like. “I mean, we speak to each [other]. Yes, we are friends. He’s grown,” the singer said. “I am [and] will forever be his mother. And, you know, I still have to cook when he comes over.”
And Tommy isn’t shy about making himself at home at Erika’s place. “[He’s like,] ‘Can I take a shower?’ ‘Yes, you may take a shower.’ But it’s nice, too, for him to be grown,” Erika stated.
It is great that Erika has been able to keep her son out of the spotlight so that he can pursue his career.
