Fans have seen Tom Sandoval at his lowest point on Vanderpump Rules Season 11. While Tom still had some friends in low places during filming, what he truly wanted was reacceptance from his entire group of former friends.
Unfortunately, his cheating scandal with Rachel Leviss sealed his fate. But perhaps not permanently. Fans have seen Scheana Shay slowly warming up to Tom again, trying to offer some advice.
The two had a conversation in the SUR parking lot about their friendship and how each had treated the other amid the scandal. Tom closed himself off which understandably hurt Scheana. Now, Tom can thank his lucky stars, as his castmates might be coming around.
Brock Davies’ advice on friendship for Tom
On the February 27 episode of Vanderpump Rules, fans saw Tom Sandoval break down and cry at the “hint of acceptance” from his friends. The crying was brought on by Scheana greeting him at the airport ahead of the Lake Tahoe trip. Unfortunately, that was about where the positive friendships ended for Tom.
When Brock Davies criticized Tom’s treatment of his friends post-Scandoval, Tom responded, “What I did was horrible but neither Raquel, nor I, did that out of any sort of malicious intent. But we felt that things were done towards us with very specific malicious intent.”
Brock offered some advice, saying, “Your feelings are valid, but you just got to understand that there’s other people involved in this whole thing. We’re not your enemy. We’re just very hurt friends.” Rather than taking the opportunity to turn inward and reflect, Tom still expected his friends to take responsibility for everything they’d done after the scandal hit the news.
Of his friends, Tom said in a confessional, “They’re failing to acknowledge the way they came after me. Talking sh*t about me on social media, selling merch hardcore, pushing conspiracy theories on podcasts. This isn’t just about them forgiving me, this is something we need to mutually move on from together.”
Right, because Tom would never use a scandal to sell merch or pedal lies.
