Summer House fans are eagerly awaiting the Season 8 premiere this Thursday. Finally, some answers may be revealed about Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s break-up.
The trailer showed the tense conversation, but little else that came before. There was one clip of Lindsay shouting at Carl and asking “What are you on?” Enough to know that the former couple were at odds, but not what started the conflict.
But now, Carl is teasing that there were problems throughout the summer while filming for Summer House.
Carl promises “ups and downs” “over the course of the summer”
Carl gave an exclusive interview to Decider just shy of the Season 8 premiere on Thursday.
The Bravolebrity was asked about the break-up conversation shown in the trailer, and “What led to that conversation?”
“I think you’ll see over the course of the summer. Listen, we started out this summer, the first week, and we were there in some conflict. So it wasn’t just like at the end of the summer, all of a sudden, out of nowhere. You will see these ups and downs and the ruptures that had gone on. And I think you’ll see both of us wrestling with these issues and trying to figure out how to move forward to resolve them,” Carl explained.
The Summer House star insisted that fans “watch the season fully and let it play out.” Carl added that he couldn’t “give away too much” about what was captured on camera during the summer of 2023.
“I mean, it’s hard because even rewatching that part of the trailer back – I almost didn’t remember some of it because it’s so intense,” the Bravolebrity said. “Your body kind of protects itself and you don’t remember every word. But watching it back was very surreal. And seeing her in the bedroom was just a very strange feeling, watching that back.”
Despite the emotions, Carl is “glad it’s out” and that he can “keep moving forward.”
