Luann de Lesseps has traveled. She’s been to prison. She’s been married twice. And now, she’s ready to find her true love. The former Real Housewives of New York City star’s persona since shedding her proper countess image after her first divorce has largely revolved around her healthy appetite for hook-ups.
However, Luann recently shared that she’s ready to settle down with – and she wants a younger man to fill that role.
Luann de Lesseps: “Late 30s, 40s, for me, is my sweet spot”
58-year-old cabaret singer Luann (and her fedora) spilled the tea on Wednesday’s The Tamron Hall Show. She expressed her interest in finding a “true partner” in 2024. In Lu’s experience, she finds older men to be sexually “challenged.” So, she’d prefer someone who is in his late 30s to 40s.
Luann got candid about who’s been trying to hit it. “So right now, all the 40-year-olds, the 30, 40-year-olds, are up into my stuff, if I can say that.”
She then gave a run-down of the pitfalls of each age group of men. “The 50-year-olds are like, ‘Oh damn, I’m 50. I need a 20-year-old.’”
Commenting on the perceived penis problems of men older than her, she said, “The 60-year-olds are a little challenged, you know what I mean, down in that department.”
Apparently, septuagenarians catch a second wind. “And the 70-year-olds just want to have a good time all day long.”
But, there’s one age group that she thinks is just right. “So it’s really from the 40s … you know, late [30s], 40s, for me, is my sweet spot.”
She noted that someone around 48 or 49 years old would be her ideal match, but she’s also not closed off to the idea of dating a “young 50-year-old.”
Lu then went on to give her cougar origin story, which stems from – checks notes – her brothers. Oof.
She explained, “I grew up with six brothers and sisters and four older brothers. So I’m very comfortable with men. I love men, I love flirting.”
Most people probably would’ve left that part out, but even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes. Luann got the yacht; so hopefully in 2024, she can also get her man. Toms and olds need not apply.
