Please, I’m begging, Alexis Bellino – take that orange! Real Housewives of Orange County might have a very interesting Season 18. And “very interesting” could arrive in the form of Alexis. It’s happened before and it might happen again. An alum comes back to the core cast – I mean, unless you’re Vicki Gunvalson.
Right now Tamra Judge is fighting with Shannon Beador and Alexis is dating Shannon’s ex. As for Shannon, after being arrested for a DUI hit-and-run accident, she’s been hanging out with Vicki who is also fighting with Tamra. The streets have been buzzing about Alexis coming back in and stirring the pot and now we know she’s been offered the big spoon. Page Six has the scoop.
Will the vet return?
Any longtime viewer of RHOC will know Alexis didn’t have an easy time when she ran on Seasons 5 – 8. Her husband at the time was a bit … unusual and she struggled with being a traditional housewife and making independent moves. She also wasn’t too friendly with the main cast and basically walked around with a target on her back.
Now Lex could return to a completely new environment. The husband is gone, the kids are older, and she has people on her side. For now. That said, Bravo has put the contract on the table and all Alexis has to do is sign. Please, take my pen.
Obviously, if Alexis shows up, John Janssen will be with her. This won’t please Shannon one bit, but to be fair, Shannon should be taking some time off to get her life straight. I’m not sure how many fans are interested in watching a smart woman who knows better go through more trials and tribulations because she makes stupid decisions.
A source close to production said, “Her relationship with John is certainly interesting, but it’s not the only reason producers want Alexis back. She’s a dynamic personality who has history with a good portion of the cast.”
The insider added, “Nothing has been signed yet.” The ball is in your court, Alexis.
Real Housewives of Orange County will return with Season 18 to Bravo in 2024.
