Vicki Gunvalson has more to say about John Janssen and Alexis Bellino’s new love affair, but is anyone listening? After all, with Vicki’s personal dating history, there’s no one less qualified to comment on anyone’s relationship.
That said, Vicki remains on a quest to remain relevant and on the minds of Real Housewives of Orange County viewers, despite being bounced from the show. With the absence of an orange comes Vicki’s opinion, so buckle up and get ready for some profound wisdom from the OG of the OC.
You dropped a love bomb on me, baby
Right after Christmas, Instagram account therealhousewiveszone shared a post from Alexis pictured sitting with Johnny J and the caption, “Johnny J, let everyone talk. But you have shown me love that I’ve never known. I love you. #thisisourchristmascard #merrychristmas.” Ugh, I know.
Vicki couldn’t help herself and popped in the comments and wrote, “It’s called ‘love bombing’. That’s not love!” First of all, where was this Vicki when everyone was screaming the same thing during her Brooks Ayers era? Secondly, Vicki is probably the last person Alexis will ever listen to when it comes to romantic entanglements.
While John’s alleged expensive gift-giving and his obvious fondness for Alexis are too sickly sweet for some folks to handle, the real deal is he didn’t treat Shannon Beador this way at all.
And this isn’t the first time Vicki spoke her truth about Alexis and John. In a previous interview she said, “It also reeks of desperation to return to the show as she probably is hoping this will stir the pot and secure her spot [on RHOC]. It makes one question why John would want to date another Housewife. Is he also fame hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer!”
Um, Vicki are YOU fame-hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer … There’s every possibility Vicki is on the right track with Johnny J and Alexis but there’s also the glaring observation she’s an enormous hypocrite. She’s probably also still having fits Alexis is being considered for a return to RHOC and she isn’t.
So I guess we can look forward to more commentary from Vicki as we get closer to Season 18. Unfortunately for the OG, in lieu of a camera, her thoughts will remain on social media.
Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return Vickiless with Season 18 to Bravo in 2024.
