All Real Housewives franchises should take note, that was the only way to do a season finale. The reality TV world was buzzing today after the explosive ending of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Monica Garcia was exposed as the participant of a gossip account called Reality Von Tease that posted incendiary material about the RHOSLC cast.
Despite the drama, the cast rallied in the wake of the shocking news and presented a united front against their common enemy.
It took some nerve for Monica to remain indignant in the face of all the proof against her and mouth off to her co-stars. Perhaps some were too much in shock to say all that they needed to. But the cast took to social media after the episode aired to unload on the ex-communicated Mormon.
Lisa mocked Monica’s supposed ambitions
“Monica is not who she says she is.” Heather Gay revealed to co-stars upon confirming Monica’s involvement with the account. “She’s not our friend. She’s someone that has schemed and worked to infiltrate our friend group. And the name that you all know her as, the woman whose birthday was celebrated, who we’ve been trying to champion and support and defend is Reality Von Tease.”
Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, and Lisa Barlow were in shock. Especially after finding out Monica dedicated “over three years” of her life to creating and nurturing the vicious project.
“It was dedicated to annihilating and exposing Jen Shah, but it quickly expanded to troll all of us. Me, Whitney, Meredith, Lisa. These were character assassinations,” Heather explained in a confessional interview during the December 4 episode. “We never knew who it was.”
“The real Monica is someone who really doesn’t want to be our friend but wants to profit from our lives and our pain,” Heather added.
“Von Tease was never just one person. It wasn’t just me. There were several other humans involved, but bottom line, our mission was to take down Jen. The other women were just collateral damage,” Monica offered as an explanation during a confessional interview.
Lisa feels “gratitude”
Lisa reacted to the mess in an Instagram post with the words, “All I feel is gratitude.” She included a series of pictures of herself with her family.
LB took a completely different approach on Twitter to poke fun at Monica with a snarky reference to Gossip Girl.
“When you dream of being Blair Waldorf & Serena but you just have Cheeto stained fingers and a key board,” she wrote to hilarious reactions.
