Shannon Beador is sad, but that’s Shannon’s normal. To be clear, Shannon has been sad on Real Housewives of Orange County since Season 9 when she joined the show. First she was sad about her ex-husband’s affair. Then she was sad about the demise of her marriage.
Shan moved on to being sad when her friends decided she was too much trouble. She was sad when new man John Janssen dumped her the first time and then she was sad when she got drunk and sideswiped a house. Now Shannon is sad because John moved on and presented his new gal pal with a ring. But she wasn’t too broken up to clock John about the expense of the jewelry. Radar has the scoop.
Sad Beador has thoughts on John’s gifting
Listen, it is absolutely valid for Shannon to feel some type of way because John is hanging out with Alexis Bellino. The truth of the matter is, if Shan wasn’t sad about this, she would be sad about something else. Another knife in the back would be Alexis returning to RHOC next season.
A source close to Shannon’s situation said, “She’s sad.” Yes, tell us something we don’t know. According to the insider, Shannon isn’t the only one in her squad who thinks the ring John gave Alexis isn’t the real deal. Alexis and John’s romance escalated quickly and now they’re using the L word and John gave her a “promise ring” for Christmas. What Alexis doesn’t know is the “promise” is for John to appear on camera again.
Lex showed off the bauble on Instagram and the alleged Van Cleef & Arpels diamond band is valued at $16k but John may or may not have pulled a Luis Ruelas and passed on a counterfeit item. “Shannon said he didn’t pay for shit,” the insider noted.
A friend of Shannon’s said, “I think it’s fake,” and added there’s “no way” Alexis would tolerate someone like John. Perhaps Alexis and John are simply working together amid her possible come back and they’re both getting something out of it …
Whatever the case, we should be finding out in the near future if Shannon will have a new reason to be sad. Real Housewives of Orange County will return with Season 18 in 2024.
