SUR Restaurant Worker Jesse Montana Undergoing Brain Tumor Removal Surgery After Three Seizures

At the end of the day, all we can do is try to help one another. Until we can improve the systems around us, the best way to improve ourselves is to serve others. Now, someone near and dear to Vanderpump Rules fans needs that service more than ever.

On December 3, the SUR Restaurant Instagram page made a post, explaining the precarious health situation of one of their employees, Jesse Montana. The post read, “Jesse has been part of our SUR family for many years. He is currently fighting for his life.” Reportedly, on the night of November 27 at 6 a.m., Jesse had three seizures and was taken to Cedars Sinai Hospital.

The Instagram post continued, “We couldn’t believe it when we were told that Jesse was in intensive care with a brain tumor, as he was just serving guests the night prior, with joy and kindness as usual.” Since the night of his seizures, Jesse has been recovering. Now, today, December 4, Jesse has his surgery to remove his tumor.

SUR’s post concluded, “His love of life, his generosity, his enthusiasm will get him through this rough time. You’ve got this Jesse! We are with you ?” Unfortunately, as expected, Jesse’s medical bills will be staggering. However, there is a way to help him.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Jesse, with the goal of $100,000 for Jesse’s medical expenses. At the time of writing, there have been 982 donations with a total of $85,176 raised so far. With Jesse now so close to the goal, every donation helps.

Donations have ranged from $10 to as much as an anonymous $20,000 (perhaps from Lisa Vanderpump or another SUR exec). TMZ reported that other VPR stars and producers have donated to Jesse’s cause, with Ariana Madix chipping in a sizable $9,000.

Jesse’s GoFundMe is rife with positive messages from donors, particularly those who had him as a server at SUR. “I still tell people to this day how he was the sweetest and had the best energy,” one donor wrote. Another said, “Never thought I could get you when I walked into sur but it was also one of the best nights of my life, thanks mostly to you.”

Once again, you can donate to Jesse’s medical expenses here.
