The world can rest easy tonight. The Richards sisters are back together. On November 29, Kyle Richards attended older sister Kathy Hilton’s annual Christmas party at her $55 million Bel Air mansion. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars reportedly ended their famous feud from five months earlier in Aspen and posed for photos alongside their middle sister Kim Richards.
Kathy’s annual Christmas party is legendary. Decorators transformed the socialite’s enormous eight-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion into a winter wonderland for the night. She said she (as if) “worked like mad” to get her home to “look like a fairy tale in every room,” including fake snow on the 3,300-square-foot terrace.
Guests brought toys to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. There were carolers and plenty of festive food. It was the perfect place for the sisters to celebrate a holiday reunion.
Single and ready to mingle
While Kyle spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky and their four daughters, he didn’t attend Kathy’s party. Mo was at the taping of the Dancing with the Stars semi-finals with his former dance partner and now close friend, Emma Slater.
Earlier this week, Kathy predicted that her younger sister might re-enter the dating pool following the “heartbreaking” separation from her husband of 27 years. “She’s a Capricorn,” Kathy told TODAY. “She’s opinionated. When she makes a decision … she didn’t just pull that out of a hat. She’s a wonderful mother. Wonderful wife.”
“She’s going to do the right thing,” added Kathy. “They care about each other. Their [four] children are very important to them. It is what it is.”
Kyle and Kathy’s famous feud began when former RHOBH co-star Lisa Rinna repeated that Kathy had told her she would “f*cking ruin Kyle” during an off-camera meltdown in February 2022. The incident took place on a cast trip to Aspen, and there was a lot of alcohol involved. No hard evidence was provided that Kathy ever said such a thing, and she, of course, denied it.
But apparently, all is forgiven now, just in time for the holidays. Let’s hope this means that the always-entertaining Mrs. Hilton will someday make another appearance on RHOBH.
