Dr. Heavenly Kimes on Quad Webb Having to Film With Ex-Husband’s New Wife

Season 10 of Married to Medicine reached new levels of messiness when they cast Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. She’s the new wife of Quad Webb’s ex-husband, Dr. Greg Lunceford, so bringing her into the group has created some seriously awkward energy in the group.

Quad is a legend for championing through this season and maintaining her position in the group while most of her friends try to befriend Sweet Tea. However, Dr. Heavenly Kimes recently revealed that she couldn’t do it — ever.

Everyone’s favorite dentist sat down with Atlanta Black Star to dish on the new season of M2M, and she made it abundantly clear that she wouldn’t be able to walk in Quad’s shoes on this one.

Dr. Heavenly would never

Of course, it’s not like Dr. Heavenly and Dr. Damon Kimes would ever split up. Heavenly loves her some Daddy, and hell would have to freeze over before that relationship fractured. But if it did, and Dr. Damon got married to someone else, Heavenly couldn’t imagine allowing them into the M2M circle.

“If y’all would’ve brought daddy back with his new wife I wouldn’t of – but I’m not Quad, that’s a whole different situation,” Heavenly quipped, “Me in that situation would’ve been very different.”

Heavenly seemed disturbed by the sheer idea of having to film with the new wife of her ex. She said that the new partner would need to go to the “dearly departed.” She continued, “Maybe go see Phaedra [Parks] down there at the funeral home.”

On the show, we learned that Sweet Tea moved into the same house that Dr. Greg and Quad once shared. She’s completely redone the place, and Dr. Heavenly said her style is like Target, whereas Quad had an interior designer.

Either way, Sweet Tea has found herself dealing with the same problems that Quad dealt with in her marriage to Dr. Greg. It’s captivating television, but you can count out Dr. Heavenly from her putting herself in that situation.

Married to Medicine airs on Bravo on Sunday nights at 9/8c.
