When it comes to Bravo hunks, few stand out as prominently as Captain Jason Chambers from Below Deck Down Under. The man was the talk of the town during BravoCon 2023. Everybody wanted (and still wants) a piece of the man in uniform, especially Adriana de Moura.
During the convention, the Real Housewives of Miami star claimed that she and Captain Jason had gone out more than once, made out, and perhaps did even more than that. According to her, the Captain had a charter in Miami, began sliding into DMs, and later met up with her at her place for dinner.
Many fans at BravoCon were skeptical, but not just the fans. Ashley Darby was also present during Adriana’s tale, and the Real Housewives of Potomac star had her suspicions. As an apparent friend of Jason, Ashley reportedly got the other side of the story.
Ashley calls Adriana a “pick-me” girl
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Ashley said Adriana was giving off major “pick-me” energy when discussing her make-out session with the Captain. Ashley further explained how she and the captain became “just friends” over the length of the convention. More conclusive than that, however, was Ashley’s recent appearance on the Mention It All podcast.
During her time on the show, Ashley flat out said Adriana’s story was “not true,” further claiming that Jason “told [her] that is not accurate.” She went on, “He literally sent me – and, you know, he doesn’t want any drama. He doesn’t want the mess. And he asked me not to give any mess, so, I won’t. But he broke it down for me – how it really happened – and that wasn’t it.”
Ashley wouldn’t say more than that, but her opinion on the matter was clear. She further commented on her own relationship with Captain Jason, reiterating that they were friends, though, they had a good time together at the convention.
As for Captain Jason? He told us here at Reality Tea: “There is no tea: a catch-up, a kiss goodnight, and it was all very civil.”
