Considering their scores, it wasn’t too surprising when Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. The two could only be saved by the fans so many times.
One has to wonder if the drama played a part in keeping them in the competition for so long. Rumors of their relationship have been going strong, despite the duo’s attempts to dispel them.
Kyle Richards was bothered by the way Mauricio and Emma held hands during the show. Especially at a time when their troubles play out for all to see on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Unfortunately for Kyle, it looks like the DWTS stars aren’t done yet.

In speaking with Us Weekly after his elimination, Mauricio admitted, “I was definitely shocked. I was definitely surprised.” He added, “I’m not sure why [and] how. But I was definitely shocked. I mean, it is what it is.” The disappointment was palpable, but the scores spoke for themselves. Still, Mo and Emma were just happy to be together.
“Mauricio is a great, great inspirational person,” Emma told Us. “[He’s] such a good supportive friend for me. So it’s been a blessing getting to know him. And now we can be friends forever. So I really very much cherish the fact that you are my dance partner.”
After Emma shared her piece, Mauricio added, “And this is not our last night on a dance floor,” teasing further collaboration between the two. At this point, the pair are doing very little to dissuade anyone from the rumors that they’re together. Even Kyle seems to have her suspicions. As for future collabs between Emma and Mo, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Dancing with the Stars continues Tuesday nights on ABC and Disney+ while Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
