Against all odds, Tumi Mhlongo and Natalya Scudder managed to form a truce on Below Deck Mediterranean. However, there’s no telling how long that will truly last. Things were tense between the pair from the beginning.
It wasn’t helpful when Kyle Viljoen interfered. It eventually became clear to everyone involved that Kyle was just trying to stir the pot and pit the stews against each other. So, while the two might have a truce, for now, that could come crumbling at any moment.
Tumi recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live to talk all things Below Deck Med. She and Andy Cohen played a game called “Smile Like You Tu-Mean It,” wherein Andy asked a series of questions about Natalya that Tumi had to answer as kindly as possible.
Tumi Mhlongo would never work under Natalya Scudder
First up, Tumi had to name one way in which Natalya was a better stew than her. Tumi thought and said, “She definitely has more energy.” Andy asked what Tumi learned from Natalya when she filled in as chief stew. Tumi asked herself, “Oh Lord, did I watch that episode?”
When asked for any reasons she’d like Natalya to return, Tumi admitted, “If we got along, we would kill the scapes.” She also said, “We would be a great team.” She was then asked why she might love to be Natalya’s friend, but without hesitation, she said, “I didn’t actually want to be her friend either.” Andy didn’t press her on that.
When asked what she envied about Natalya’s friendship with Kyle, Tumi said, “None of it.” As for Natalya’s greatest skill, Tumi said, “She’s got a good work ethic, I will give her that.” As for how likely she’d be to work under Natalya on a scale of 1-10, Tumi simply said, “Oh no, we’re not doing that.”
