After everything that has happened, would Sister Wives star Janelle Brown consider polygamy again? In the latest episode of Sister Wives, the ex-wife of Kody Brown shared that she’s still open to sharing love and why she doesn’t care about Kody Brown’s marriage to Robyn Brown.
Even after nearly 30 years of marriage to Kody and everything that happened in between, Janelle wasn’t closing her doors to polygamy.
Janelle Brown is still open to shared love despite Sister Wives drama
“I would consider a plural marriage again,” Janelle said to former sister wife Christine Brown in a recent Sister Wives episode. “I like it, I like plural marriage,” she added.
Not surprisingly, Christine did not share her view. Christine shared that she was just looking for a partner and not another polygamist family. And she got her wish by marrying David Woolley this month.
“I’ve been jealous about many things in my life, but there’s no need to get pre-jealous about Janelle’s next relationship,” Christine shared in a confessional. “It’s hard to hear coming from my perspective, but I wouldn’t live in polygamy again.”
Janelle explained that she enjoyed her independence in a plural marriage and told Christine that she still believed in the “faith part of it,” even after her relationship with Kody ended.
After all, she said that she didn’t stop believing just because the relationship didn’t work out. “That’s how most marriages are,” she said.
The right fit
However, despite still believing, Janelle made it clear that if she ever joined a plural family again, it would have to be the right fit. She recalls feeling a spiritual connection with Kody when they first met. So, she’d be up for it if she felt something like that again.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see if she finds another polygamist soul mate in the future. As for Kody, with his marriage to Janelle, Christine, and Meri Brown over, he is left with Robyn as his sole wife. Would he still be considered a polygamist?
“I think he’s a monogamist now,” Christine joked.
