The former image of Taylor Ann Green as a wholesome and innocent girl, being the perfect fit into Shep Rose’s life is long gone. That version of Taylor was buried, along with the failed relationship.
Because what occurred between Taylor and Austen Kroll is coming to light on Season 9 of Southern Charm. Not only did Taylor hook-up with her ex-boyfriend’s buddy, she also lied about it repeatedly to her bestie, Olivia Flowers, who dated Austen for a brief time.
Then there was the sloppy side-story about the nude picture Taylor sent to co-star Whitney Sudler-Smith. Southern Charm viewers were informed of the incident when his mother, Patricia Altschul, asked him about it on camera. There’s just way too much going on in this friend group. But the question has to be asked. What was Taylor’s motivation?
“I did it to myself,” Taylor admitted
Taylor revealed her motivation to share her body with her ex-boyfriend’s friend. A different friend than the one she hooked up with, just to be clear.
During an interview with The Decider, Taylor was asked to “set the record straight on what actually happened” with the nude pic.
“I’m really just on one this year. Like every single — you name every single cast member and my name is somehow involved. And I did it to myself … but yeah, it was a risqué photo,” Taylor responded. “Absolutely. But not like a straight up, ‘Whoa, there she is!’ It is risqué, but you can’t even tell that it’s me. And I did it to get under Shep’s skin. That one I will take full responsibility for. That was a dig at Shep.”
So, perhaps Taylor figured Whitney would show Shep the unidentifiable photo, only that her ex-boyfriend would have been able to tell it was her.
Why was mommy involved?
Taylor added, “I had heard that he and Whitney had been galavanting around, bringing women home, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, “Oh, is this what you’re looking for?” So I own up to it. Shame on me. Don’t do that.”
Deflecting again, Taylor questioned how Patricia came to know about the photo. She stated, “I think it’s very weird that Whitney would even share that with his mother. Very odd. Like, what in the world? You’re gonna go run to mommy’s room and be like, like, ‘Wheee.” That’s weird.'”
It seems that with all the controversy about Taylor’s hook up with Austen, the photo incident will be quickly forgotten.
