The hits just keep coming for scummy Tom Sandoval. And I’m not talking about his sad attempts at a music career. Following his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss going public, he’s hit the self-destruct button with little regard for ex Ariana Madix. His most recent act of self-sabotage? Agreeing to be interviewed by Howie Mandel. Now he’s left Bravo feeling “blindsided,” and might even be fired. Vanderpump Rules will never be the same again.
One fellow castmate who certainly isn’t impressed by his antics is Lala Kent. Page Six reported that she took to Instagram Stories to slam Tom’s choice to take part in the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast. She said it was an “odd” decision, and described it as “a weird f-king first interview” to do post-Scandoval. Not to mention, Lala accused Tom of simply doing the podcast to engage in “lying some more.”
Despite describing Howie as “dope” and “cool,” Lala added that it is, “So f-king random. Like, the game show host? The one who fist-bumps you because he’s scared of germs?” She said that picking someone to interview you for the first time who hasn’t seen a single episode of VPR was “strange and so off-brand.” Looks like Tom is picking up on some of his buddy Tom Schwartz’s lack of media training.
Lala also addressed Tom basically calling her an opportunist for discussing Scandoval on her Give Them Lala podcast. “I’ve profited off of me saying funny s–t,” she said. “I’ve profited off of my own f–king heartbreak. What makes you think I ain’t about to profit off yours? Plus, Ariana is fine with it.”
Tom seems as shameless as ever. Fortunately, it appears like Ariana is finding success in all sorts of places. As we watch the final Pump Rules Season 10 episodes and inch closer to the explosive reunion, it’s clear Tom is trying to do damage control. Unlikely it succeeds, but commendable for trying? Nah, he’s just trash interested in keeping his own stardom alive.
