What is it with Kyle Richards claiming that people don’t pay up or don’t give things back? During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 reunion, she went after newbie Garcelle Beauvais. She accused Garcelle of not paying up a charity donation she pledged. A shocked Garcelle wanted to know why she didn’t just notify her. It seems like Kyle wanted to embarrass Garcelle instead of just giving her a call. Now Kyle is doing it again, but taking it overseas.
As reported by Page Six, Caroline Stanbury was forced to defend herself over a borrowed jacket. The Real Housewives of Dubai star took to Twitter to set the record straight. Caroline tweeted out a screenshot of a DM Kyle sent. In the DM, Kyle admitted she misrepresented a story about Caroline not giving her jacket back on Watch What Happens Live. Caroline tweeted, “hmmmm @KyleRichards pls clarify i had to borrow your jacket as my dress was see through i told you i loved it you said it’s from your store i bought it.”
In the DM, Kyle tried to cover her a– by giving Caroline a heads up. Kyle wrote, “Hi I just wanted to give you a heads up last night I was asked about you and the Dubai show and I said something about you borrowing my jacket & not wanting to give it back (because you had liked it so much) but I know you returned it & ended up buying one. She concluded, “Anyway, the show goes so fast never time to explain everything. Good luck with the show!”
While the full screenshot of the DM wasn’t shown, Caroline did message her back. And she wasn’t amused. Caroline, “yes i have been tagged about it a lot and yes i bought it from your store.” She included an eye roll emoji for emphasis.
Now onto what Kyle actually said on WWHL. Host Andy Cohen began his shade by asking Kyle about Caroline. He began, “Caroline Stanbury’s had issues with some of the women.” He went on to ask, “We want to know if you agree with Nina [Ali]’s first impression of her. Do you find Caroline Stanbury to be standoffish? You’ve been on Bravo many years. Have you had a run-in with her? Do you know her?”
Kyle responded that her “only run-in” with Caroline was when she lended her the jacket she was wearing. Then claimed, “I didn’t get it back from her.” After all these years on RHOBH and how many appearances on WWHL, you would think Kyle would know better. The clip wasn’t edited and Kyle never clarified her statement. Now she’s clearly on Caroline’s bad side, which is understandable. I would be mad too if someone suggested I swiped their jacket.
Caroline has since deleted her original tweet showing their private convo. But she did tweet out a new one, with the same caption but different picture. The picture she featured was from a Bravo article with the headline, “Kyle Richards Has An Interesting Sorts About The First Time She Met Caroline Stanbury.” Below the headline teased, “The RHOBH cast member said she’s still missing a jacket after a run-on with the RHODubai cast member.” Kyle has yet to respond to Caroline’s tweet.
