I think it’s safe to say that the drama on Vanderpump Rules this season is nowhere near levels of Stassi Schroeder slapping Kristen Doute or Jax Taylor cheating on Brittany Cartwright. Behind the scenes, many of the remaining Pump Rulers seem to be going through major relationship shifts. Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy called it quits just weeks after an episode showcasing their (Tom Sandoval-produced) engagement premiered. And in even more shocking news, Lala Kent and “her man” Randall Emmett are OVER. DUNZO. No more PJs. Oy vey.
It’s so official that Lala kicked him off her podcast and made merch about the split. And the split seems to be ANYTHING but amicable — Randall’s being accused of sending some shady DMs to other women and Lala is cutting all ties. Well, aside from the little baby they share together. Lala’s getting a taste of her own medicine, and I’m sure Brock Davies feels a little vindicated.
Lala is a scary person to make angry, especially if someone betrays her. She’s supposed to be planning her wedding to Randall but instead is figuring out how to ride solo. And while she and Rand are still together in the current episodes of VPR, the reunion is sure to reveal some of the truth behind the mid-season split.

Andy Cohen recently took to Twitter to answer fan questions, and someone asked why Lala hasn’t appeared on Watch What Happens Live since the break-up to answer fan questions. Andy somewhat evaded the question, instead offering a teaser about the reunion. “She mentions it all at the reunion,” he responded. Knowing Lala’s track record, she’ll put Randall on blast and not look back.
Meanwhile, all I can really think about though is the fact that James and Lala are single at the same time again. The last time this happened, it was basically World War III for reality TV. I have goosebumps at the thought.

I do wish Andy would have revealed whether or not Randall shows up to the reunion in some fashion. It seems like since Lala is the real cast member, she would object to him getting any more screentime. But who knows if he’ll get a final chance to explain himself, Brooks Ayers style.
