Erika Jayne Tom Girardi RHOBH Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills-4

Tom Girardi’s Law Firm Owes $101 Million In Debt And Owns $4 Million In Property, Investigator Finds After Reviewing Tom’s Finances

Erika Jayne has said at least one truthful statement on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season — the legal mess surrounding Tom Girardi is going to go on for a longggg time. Reviewing the longtime lawyer and his wife’s extensive finances is proving to be a major task for investigators. And if the rumors are true that Erika is shuffling her assets, that’s got to make it even harder. But the Ice Queen is melting as more news comes out nearly every day about the case.

A trustee presiding over Tom’s bankruptcy is stuck with the task of figuring out what Tom has, what he owes, and how it’s going to get paid off. Auctioning off Tom’s personal items and selling the couple’s former Pasadena mansion is just the beginning. Erika isn’t exactly doing her part to pay back the victims, clutching onto her precious clothes and jewels to fill the void in her heart. And her RHOBH co-stars are supporting her mess, except for queen Sutton Stracke.

In a recent report from Radar Onlinethe trustee presiding over the Chapter 7 for Tom’s firm has given updated numbers for his assets and liabilities. And boy is it XXPen$ive. The new filing states that tom has $4.1 million in property and owes a whopping $101 million to various creditors. They’re going to have to sell a whole lot of Erika Jayne’s clothes to pay off, even though she has no interest in doing so at all.

The documents also state that Tom has several bank accounts that investigators are combing through. One account has as much as $5 million, while others contain little money or an amount unknown to the court. Additionally, the $25 million that Tom deposited into Erika’s business bank account is listed as an asset, even though Miss EJ is shrugging her shoulders wondering where the money is. I think we found it.

The trustee says based on Tom’s books, which haven’t been “well maintained,” the number of assets could increase over time as the investigation continues. Financial documents were allegedly “piled high on each and every surface and in no discernible order,” so it’s as messy as Tom’s career as a lawyer. I don’t envy the people having to dig through decades of Tom’s messy finances to find out the truth. But I commend them for trying to figure it out and get the money owed to the victims that Tom allegedly duped.
