Ramona Singer is like a poorly-wrapped but really amazing Christmas gift, and has been since the first season of the Real Housewives of New York. She has a bad habit of saying the wrong things and over apologizing so that no one gets mad at her. She’s a staunch supporter of other women — like her 50 best girlfriends — as long as they are supportive of her. And she has a tendency to do wacky things like eat dog food, post her bank account on Instagram, and poop on the floor MORE THAN ONCE. Truly, a gift no one asked for because they didn’t know they wanted it. They don’t call her the Ramonacoaster without a reason.
Ramona appeared on Watch What Happens Live recently, against her will because she’d rather be at a Lady Gaga concert. Even though she couldn’t name a single Gaga song, but that’s another story. She dished on new RHONY castmates Bershan Shaw and Eboni K. Williams. She talked about the rumor she was getting fired and the love she’s been receiving since. And she discussed her feelings about being shaded by the legendary Rihanna on Instagram after her on-screen feud with Leah McSweeney. 10s across the board for the episode.
In a WWHL aftershow, Ramona was asked her feelings about RHONY alum Barbara Kavovit running for mayor of NYC last year. Barb, a previous friend-of Luann de Lesseps, dropped out of the race and didn’t end up running the city and making City Hall her office. However, the Ramonacoaster wasn’t planning on voting for her anyway.
Ramona referred to the campaign as “a joke” and her face said it all — sorry not sorry. Like, if looks could KILL.

Andy clearly felt awkward after her response, but Mona’s going to tell the truth no matter what. And probably apologize for it later. Ramona joins her BFF Sonja Morgan (whose dog’s name she completely FORGOT on WWHL, mind you) in the pool of RHONY ladies who weren’t planning on casting their ballots for Barb the Builder.
And we already know Lu wasn’t going to vote for her, after Barb shaded her singing skills a few seasons back. Maybe next time, Barb. At least it wasn’t Mona running for mayor — that’s a recipe for disaster.
