I’m honestly living for Garcelle Beauvais this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She knows how to stir the pot and throw hilarious shade, like when she named her “boring” fish after Kyle Richards. She always turns a look, and doesn’t make it her entire personality *cough cough* Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne. She knows what it takes to be a good friend, and formed an unexpected duo with Sutton Stracke. And she’s been on Lisa Rinna’s back ever since her utter betrayal of Denise Richards.
Rinna, on the other hand, hasn’t been having the best season. And I’m not even talking about the Scott Disick of it all. She’s got some explaining to do as to why she hounded Denise about the Brandi Glanville hookup rumors, yet is letting Erika and her trail of horrific legal allegations run around without a gang-up in sight. And let’s not forget Denise was her friend of TWENTY YEARS while she just teamed up with Erika to try to make a quirky dynamic duo that has always come off as fake. OWN THAT Rinna.
One of the most unsettling moments so far this season of RHOBH came from Rinna trying to excuse her behavior toward Denise with an analogy almost as bad as Jackie Goldschneider’s. She essentially compared her disloyalty toward Denise to her husband Harry Hamlin turning his back on a friend who allegedly raped a woman. Yeah, because an alleged consensual hookup DEFINITELY is in the same category — NOT.

Garcelle recently appeared on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino to give her opinion about the bizarre story. Her face in the moment basically said it all, though. Garcelle has had Denise’s back throughout the whole RHOBH take-down plot, so the bizarre story didn’t sit well with her, according to ShowBiz CheatSheet.

“I have no idea. It was so insane,” Garcelle said on the podcast (or as Kathy Hilton says, the iPod). “It was like ‘What?’ — Are you kidding? Get out of here with that story.” Exactly. Unnecessary and uncalled for. And frankly, the way she brought it up was just super disturbing. Rinna’s gonna have to own that at the reunion this year. Among other questionable choices she’s made so far this season.
