If 2021 has brought us anything, it’s plenty of drama in the Real Housewives universe. Jen Shah’s arrest. Erika Jayne’s divorce and legal issues. Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s firing. Kathy Hilton. The return of Heather Dubrow. And, arguably the most exciting development, is a Real Housewives All-Stars vacation spinoff with ladies from several cities getting together under one roof in Turks and Caicos to film a special. It’s like Christmas all year long for Bravo fans.
The Peacock spinoff featured a cast full of OGs. We had Teresa Giudice (dripping in macrame) and Melissa Gorga repping the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore were there for Real Housewives of Atlanta. OGs Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps represented Real Housewives of New York. And Kyle Richards went solo from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
It’s an odd bunch of women. While some are known for their pot-stirring and ability to throw shade (Tre, Twirl and the Ramonacoaster), others were unexpected picks. 50 Cynt hasn’t had a lot going on on RHOA aside from her COVID wedding and raunchy bachelorette party. God knows why MelGo was picked over Dolores Catania, who we all know would rip Ramona a new one. And why did no one from the Mean Girls squad join Kyle from RHOBH? I have so many questions.
But one thing’s for certain — when you throw a bunch of big Real Housewives personalities on a tropical island for an alcohol-soaked girls trip, the drama is unavoidable. Fans have been speculating who will get into it on the upcoming series. Rumor has it Twirl and Ramona go at it, but that’s sort of a give-in. And 50 Cynt recently did an interview with OK! Magazine to talk about the drama she found herself in on the trip.
The word on the street is that Kyle and Cynthia had beef, considering Kyle complimented all of her co-stars except for Cynthia in a recent interview. And now Cynthia has confirmed that, adding that her alter ego 50 Cynt “had to take a little trip to Turks and Caicos.” Now that’s the energy we’ve been missing from her.
Cynthia explained that she went into the house “blindly” considering the show is the first of its kind for Bravo. However, she expected her friends Twirl and the Countess to “have [her] back.” “As it turned out, once we got there, things kind of changed,” she continued. “Some friendships kind of changed and I definitely ended up bumping heads with a couple of people.” I’m shocked. You could say, in tears almost.

“I’m generally a team player, I [like] peace, but I’m all about reciprocity and I felt like I wasn’t getting that same energy and support that I was giving out so we had to talk about it,” Cynthia elaborated. 50 Cynt is arguably one of the most chill housewives from any city. And you’re telling me her longtime friend Twirl didn’t have her back after all they’ve gone through together? Now that’s low, even for Kenya. Sounds like their friendship contract could use some renegotiating.
She explained that Kyle was “definitely one of the people [she] bumped heads with” on the trip. She didn’t elaborate on what exactly ignited the feud. “Here’s the thing: I like Kyle and we have tons of friends in common, but we definitely had a moment,” Cynthia said, adding that the moment laster “longer than it needed to.” TEA. The girls are fighting and I need to know why.
By the end of the trip, Cynt and Kyle patched it up. “I really like Kyle a lot and I’m glad she’s part of the mash-up, even though we mashed it up,” Cynthia said. She also said that the stars break the fourth wall a lot in the spinoff, which isn’t typical for the regular Real Housewives shows. And added that for the first mash-up season, the gang “set the bar high” for future seasons. But we’ll let the Bravoholics be the judge of that.
