Braunwyn Windham-Burke Real Housewives Of Orange County

Braunwyn Windham-Burke Says Emily Simpson Should Have Been Fired And Calls Her “Eeyore;” Says It’s “Going To Be Weird” Watching Gina Kirschenheiter And Heather Dubrow Interact

Well, when Bravo promised some changes on Real Housewives of Orange County, they weren’t kidding around. Elizabeth Lyn Vargas was let go, as was the divisive Kelly Dodd.  And Braunwyn Windham-Burke was also fired after two seasons on RHOC.

And to everyone’s surprise (and my delight) “Fancy Pants” Heather Dubrow is returning for Season 16. Her plastic surgeon husband, DrTerry Dubrow, said earlier this month that his wife has a “never say never” attitude, and that he missed being on RHOC. I cannot wait to see the interior of the $21 million dollar home that the couple built in Newport Beach. It happens to be the most expensive Housewives home.

Of course, Kelly and Braunwyn have had a lot to say since their firing. “I’m incredibly sad to not be able to come back to The Real Housewives of Orange County next year,” Braunwyn said. “I loved every moment of being a Housewife and am so proud of my time on the show– the good, the bad, and the in-between.”

Braunwyn spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the three remaining RHOC cast members: Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Storms Beador. Braunwyn has some issues with who didn’t end up losing their orange.

“Honestly, I think it’s weird. Gina, I get. Gina was very, like, whatever,” Braunwyn said.

Emily, I think Tamra Judge said it best, it’s like watching paint dry. I agree. I know her in real life and I’m like, you were Eeyore.” Ouch! That was harsh.

Braunwyn does agree with keeping Shannon on the franchise. “I think Shannon’s good, because you get the older, long-term viewers, that’s good for bringing them back,” the mom of seven remarked. “I think the dynamics with the new and the old will be interesting.”

She continued, “Heather’s a great casting decision. The idea of Heather and Gina is going to be weird,” Braunwyn added. Braunwyn believes that the producers “should have gone further” with the casting changes once Heather, and her level of wealth, were added to the show.

Braunwyn commented, “If you’re going to recast, and you’re going to go the direction of — and I know the new cast members — so if you’re going that direction, I just think that it’s going to be an interesting dynamic.” I am guessing that Braunwyn is alluding to her friend, Noella Bergener, who is rumored to be joining RHOC.

“You have young, hot, rich, beautiful, cool, liberal,” Braunwyn stated. “And then conservative Trump supporters. It’s going to be an interesting dynamic.”

I have a dreadful feeling that we will be getting regular updates from Braunwyn during Season 16.
