Real Housewives of Atlanta didn’t give me as much as I was hoping for this season. Whew has it made up for that in the last 48 hours. Porsha Williams getting engaged to Simon Guobadia, her RHOA friend of’s husband, is all I can think about. Sure, Porsha is trying to claim she wasn’t close with the friend in question, Falynn Guobadia. She’s even trying to say that the divorce has nothing to do with her because they have only been dating for a month. A whole month and they are engaged. We know something isn’t adding up. Especially because Falynn was claiming at the end of March she and her husband were working it out. And Simon was apparently also busy with another woman in between Falynn and Porsha. The mess of it all!
Despite Porsha posting the engagement to her Instagram by saying, “Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest”, fans were not feeling it. But plenty of Bravolebrities flooded her comments sections to quickly congratulate her. Maybe a little too quickly.
It’s hard to imagine ex-peach NeNe Leakes being happy for anyone but happy she seemed to be for Porsha’s engagement. Before Porsha limited comments on the post, NeNe commented, “Congrats P! Always choose happiness first #lovewins.” Not so fast because fans were all too happy to fill NeNe in on Twitter.
Apparently NeNe is all caught up because she then backtracked by tweeting out, “I didn’t watch the show! So this the man that was on the show wit that girl?!?! Oh shit now i see what y’all saying! OUCH”. The surprised face emojis she added were a nice touch.

In another tweet, NeNe took accountability for not having all the facts. She admitted, “Reading is fundamental. I posted a comment and didn’t really read. I just saw love and relationship then posted. You have to keep it real as a friend, it looks strange but i don’t know any details”. I’m sure Porsha would like to keep it that way.
Now that more details are starting to come out, I’m wondering if anyone else will be walking back their congrats to Porsha and Simon. Who is going to side with Kenya Moore, who has been saying Porsha is shady all along? And when does Marlo Hampton get her apology for backing Kenya up? I doubt it will happen but in my ideal world, that’s what next season will be all about. Either way, I want to see it all.
