Is Brandi Redmond done with Real Housewives of Dallas? She strongly hinted at this when she shared that super cryptic message about “choosing happiness” after sharing her life for five years.
She didn’t explicitly mention the show, but she has been on the show for five years, so that does seem like that’s what she was saying. It was just so strange given the timing of the non-announcement. We are in the middle of Season 5. In fact, they’re still filming confessional interviews and they didn’t even shoot the reunion yet. Is this just Brandi’s way of warning us she won’t be a part of the reunion sit-down? Is she gonna take this back? Or just ride out the season and then officially quit? What is going on?
Brandi still hasn’t clarified the situation. Actually, no one really has. According to Entertainment Tonight, a source said, “Brandi’s message was likely more about taking a step back from social media than RHOD.” Attention seeking much? How confusing.
Kameron Westcott didn’t clear up the situation either, but she did tell ET, “I honestly knew before she posted that.” She knew what though?
Kameron explained, “I actually knew she was just really stressed out, and she’s been focusing on her family. She just had her fourth baby and she just has been stressed out.” Brandi has definitely had a difficult year. She checked into a wellness center after that video resurfaced of her making fun of Asians. Her mother-in-law died in a car accident. Brandi’s daughter was in the car at the time as well.

“We’re still filming and doing interviews and things like that, so it’s a lot to handle when you just had a baby,” Kam remarked. She explained, “And after you have a baby, your hormones are kind of heightened and everything’s a little bit more extreme. So I do think she was at a point where she’s like, ‘God, I don’t know how I’m going to juggle this with four kids.’”
The pink enthusiast theorized, “And I think she kind of got to a point where she’s like, ‘OK, I’m done. I can’t handle all this drama. I want to focus on my family.’ And there was just so much white noise and I think she got stressed out.”

Even so, Kameron is still holding out hope that Brandi isn’t actually leaving the show. She said, “I’m hoping she’s not done with the show because I couldn’t imagine the show without her. I really built a friendship with her. I would really be sad if she said that. So I’m hoping that’s not true.”
These two have certainly come a long way from the days of Brandi calling Kameron “Big Bird” while taunting her with a dildo on the beach.
