Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has to be regretting her song “XXpen$ive” these days, right? Almost every article slamming her and her lawyer husband Tom Girardi for their questionable finances (and ethics) is citing that song and Erika’s other claims about her lavish lifestyle.
She has even said that she spends $40K on glam every single month. Most of us were questioning if that was actually worth it. News flash: it’s not. Especially since her husband had been withholding money from his clients, who were owed money after losing family members in airplane crashes, explosions, and boating accidents. Basically, Tom was taking money from orphans, widows, and widowers to fund Erika’s ridiculous costume budget and her paid “friends” from her glam squad.
When Erika announced her intent to split from Tom, it didn’t take long for them to be accused of running a scam. Are they only splitting to protect their assets amidst embezzling claims?
Then, there were was the news that Tom had been secretly hospitalized, which adds a sadness to the timing of their split. I couldn’t help getting David Foster and Yolanda Hadid vibes on that one, not that we know for sure the reason behind their split. Nevertheless, the timing wasn’t a great look amidst her battle with Lyme disease.

Well, now, even more info has come out about Tom’s questionable life. And this time, it’s a quote from Tom himself. According to Page Six, Tom testified in fall that he doesn’t have nearly as much money as people used to think.
Tom said, “At one point I had about 80 million or 50 million in cash. That’s all gone. I don’t have any money.” And there you have it.
