The hits just keep on coming for the cast of Vanderpump Rules! Many fans wondered what would happen to the show after the firing of stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for racist behaviors. But that was months ago and aside from a million pregnancy announcements, not much has been said about the show since.
Two people who fans were not happy about sticking around are Jax Taylor and wife, Brittany Cartwright. Jax has long been accused of being problematic, aside from just being a massive a**hole. And Brittany was accused of saying racist things about former castmate, Faith Stowers. But given all the months that went by, it seemed like these two were spared of the mass firings. Too bad for them, we finally got our wish. People rejoice! Jax and Brittany are officially off the show! Now, of course they are making it sound like it was a mutual decision and they weren’t fired. But we know better, don’t we?
Now castmates (should I call them former castmates now that Jax and Brit are canned?) Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix are sounding off on their thoughts on the matter.
As reported by Hollywood Life, Tom and Ariana seemed pretty surprised by the news. According to Ariana, “We saw [the news] literally right as I was about to click on [HollywoodLife’s] page. But we don’t — We know as much as you.” Well, I guess that’s one way to find out. She continued, “Literally, as I was about to click on your page I was like, ‘Oh, [Jax and Brittany are] going live,’ saw it, and that’s it. So we’re here. We don’t know. We have no inside. We’re out of the loop…but yeah, crazy.”

Tom added, “We had no idea! At least we’re making a cocktail!” Not sure if he’s doing a shameless plug of their cocktail book or if he’s saying he just really needed a cocktail after hearing the news. I’m going to guess it’s a celebratory one either way. As for how she’s feeling, Ariana admits, “I’m one of those people where it takes a long time to process things. Get back to me next week!”
Well I am one fan who doesn’t need any time to process. This is GREAT news! I’ve long since tired of Jax and Brittany’s antics and the way they treat people. The nail in the coffin (as if we really needed one) was their whole season long wedding arch. Which was basically one big excuse for them to treat everyone like shit.

So, I’m happy they are gone. I’m still left wondering why it took so long but hey, maybe Bravo just wanted to give a holiday gift to the fans. Happy Holidays, y’all.
