High fives all around! We have officially made it through season 12 of Real Housewives of New York. It’s hard to remember that we are even still in a season 12 moment after so much cast-chatter about next season. Elyse Slaine has said she won’t be back. Not sure who was asking, but alright. More importantly, we will all be spared from Dorinda Medley’s chaos next year. Watching her endlessly complain about Tinsley Mortimer being fake while trying to avoid her obvious substance issues was…disorienting. To say the least.
Moving on. For better or worse, Ramona Singer has confirmed her return to season 13. Fans have also been waiting in suspense over the return of Leah McSweeney.
Our girl Leah has shared that she will be returning to the cast of RHONY for the upcoming season. Updated facial structure, fat pay raise, and all. Page Six is reporting that Leah has officially secured that money, honey. After threatening to walk, it sounds like our newest veteran has secured a nice per-episode bonus. It’s being said that she has been given an increase to the tune of $3,000 to $10,000 per episode.
Leah isn’t the only Housewife who was given a salary increase. She was probably just the only one anyone cared enough to report on. Rest assured that the other wives were also given their “standard wage increase” Hey. At least Bravo recognizes that Leah is anything but standard.

Other changes for season 13 include the strict filming guidelines that must be followed as a result of COVID-19. The women are expected to quarantine, sets are closed, and no extra friends with be in attendance for filmed events. Speaking of all that, you know who else needs a raise? Whoever is in charge of wrangling Corona-Ramona into compliance. How will viewers ever survive a season without all of her closest 50 friends at a party with zero edge? I have a feeling Ramona will be as intolerable as ever to compensate.
One non-confirmed but very exciting rumor is a possible new cast-member. That’s right, Bershan Shaw, a motivational speaker, has been shooting with the women in the Hamptons. Please. I love some low-down drama but I need all the love and light I can get after this fiasco of a year.
