Hard to believe it’s been a year since Season 9 of Married at First Sight wrapped. If you haven’t seen it or aren’t fresh on the details, I highly recommend a binge. If I had to pick one word to describe Season 9? Mayhem. Absolute mayhem. From the secret life of Matt Gwynne to the virginity obsessed Iris Caldwell. Let’s also not forget the angry, but horny, but not horny, and now she’s sad, wait is she mad again, roller coaster of Elizabeth Bice. But through it all there was one steady guiding force. None other than Gregory Okotie and Deonna McNeill.
Deonna and Greg are truly too pure to capture in words. They’re the kind of realistic true love you don’t even mind watching. Even when all you really want is a moment like Matt catching a fly in that constantly gaping mouth of his. Seriously. That guy is so odd and I still can’t believe how long Amber Bowles stuck around for it. At the season reunion Deonna and Greg announced they were expecting…a new niece or nephew. Now they have an even bigger announcement!
E! News shared a statement from these love bugs where they announced that this time around, THEY are pregnant! WOOOOOO!!! Greg and Deonna said, “We are pregnant! It’s surreal to think that less than two years ago we met for the first time at the altar and now we are expanding our family! We are blessed to begin this new chapter and can’t wait to meet our little bundle of joy.” So. So. So. Excited for them!

Viewers of the Married at First Sight spin off, Married at First Sight: Couples Cam may remember recent scenes of Deonna calling Greg a baby whisperer. Was that a little hint? It’s hard to forget the jarring moment on their original season when Greg mentioned that he wanted eight kids. This sweet sweet misguided soul. Will this be the first of many many more?!

Excited new father Greg shared a pregnancy announcement post to Instagram. He and Deonna stood in coordinated outfits with a sign reading “Okotie Party of 3.” Fans were quick to congratulate the new family. There were even a few quips that it was “one down.”
