Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan Edmonds has been going through a tough time in her personal life. Since leaving the show for a more laid-back life, Meghan’s life has been anything but relaxed.
Meghan and her husband, Jim Edmonds, share daughter Aspen, who is 2-years-old, and twins Hart and Hayes, who are one-year-old. Meghan and Jim were side by side at the hospital when Hart received an MRI to see whether he had a neurological disease. Sadly, the family received a devastating diagnosis. Hart has been diagnosed with a type of irreversible brain damage that is called PVL.
While Meghan was dealing with her son’s diagnosis, she was already grappling with the news that her husband, Mr. Dad Jeans, had been cheating. Meghan took to her blog to express her shock and heartbreak. In another slap in the face, Meghan first found out about Jim’s extracurricular activities through the tabloids. How classy!
Jim gave a statement to US Weekly on June 13, saying, “Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment. I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person. At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none,” Jim said. “This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past.”

So, maybe Jim should have kept it in his pants not gotten inappropriately involved with this woman if he knew of her history. Of course, there have been rumors about Jim’s wandering eye. RHOC star Kelly Dodd even leveled an accusation that Jim was cheating on Meghan while Meghan was still on the show.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Meghan shared that the couple is still together. Meghan revealed that she FaceTimed her husband after reading the tabloid story, and he confessed to the indiscretion. “He was extremely emotional, crying and remorseful,” Meghan said.

Jim, who is a former baseball player, copped to sending explicit messages to Jennifer Villegas, who is an alleged baseball groupie. Jim even sent Jennifer a video of himself masturbating the same day that Meghan was in the hospital giving birth to their twin boys. Really? That is beyond disgusting behavior. Why is Meghan staying with this unfaithful lout?
The short answer is, Meghan wants to keep her family together. “We’re still married, we’re still together, we’re not separated. I know my engagement ring is well known! I’ve never stopped wearing it,” Meghan explained. “We’re in the family home, we’re in the same bed. We’re not having therapy, we’re talking.”

Meghan admits to feeling sad and confused. “On one hand, I was so sad and hurt and on the other, he is my best friend in the world and the only person I want to be with at a difficult time. It was confusing.”
Meghan saw a photo of Jim’s supposed mistress, which, ironically, made her feel better. She said, “The second I saw her photo I saw she was disgusting. I saw how gross she was and I knew, ‘All good.’ I knew he would never touch her. That helped me. Then I knew it was just a sexting thing.” Am I missing something? Does that mean that Jim would only physically cheat with an attractive woman?

Meghan described how Jim’s sexting partner told Jim that they had met in the past. “She wanted to know about his workouts then the naked pictures started coming. They never met ten years or so ago either, that was a lie.” Meghan remarked.
“There was no physical relationship. He only met this other woman when she stalked him one time. This woman is a con artist,” Meghan added. “She’s gone after so many baseball players. She was out to get some money and she got it, then she was on to the next one.”

Meghan has made the decision to leave Jennifer in her rear view. Meghan stated, “You know what, she doesn’t really mean anything to me. She’s just like a function of my husband’s bad decision. I don’t want to think about her and I have nothing I want to say to her.”
But, how does Meghan feel now about her husband’s betrayal? “Believe me I am still mad at him but once I figured that out, what she was like, I was able to pull our family together. It actually made it more bearable,” the former RHOC star said.

Meghan believes that time will, eventually, heal her relationship with her philandering husband. “Time, time, time. With each passing day trust will rebuild, just like in any relationship that has been hit hard,” Meghan concluded.
