The ladies of the Real Housewives of Orange County should regularly pray to whatever reality TV deity has blessed us all with Gina Kirschenheiter. Her life is a hot mess. That is sad for her and her kids, but it makes great TV. Her dumpster fire of an existence also seems to have revitalized the franchise. Or at least I hope it will.
In April of 2018, Gina filed for divorce from her husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, citing “irreconcilable differences.” She then got herself in some legal trouble for drunk driving and talking on the phone while driving. Girl, do you not have Uber? And Bluetooth? Those are both, like, the easiest crimes to avoid. Earlier this summer, Matt was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence against Gina. Gina then filed a restraining order against Matt, which resulted in him being ordered to stay 100 yards away from Gina and the children. He has, however, gained supervised visits with the kids since then.
According to US Weekly, Gina and Matt had a hearing scheduled on Tuesday, July 16 to hammer out some of their legal issues. Gina, however, did not grace the court with her presence for the hearing, pissing off the judge. Maybe try to avoid angering the judge during legal proceedings, Gina. She appears to be under the impression that court-ordered appearances are optional.
US Weekly reports that Gina‘s lawyer, Tracy Lundquist, took the blame for Gina’s failure to appear. Tracy told the court that she told Gina that only the lawyers were needed at the hearing. Gina, get a new lawyer. This one keeps telling you that you don’t have to show up for stuff.

Despite Gina’s failure to appear, Matt’s lawyer managed to throw a little shade. Matt’s lawyer was arguing for unsupervised visitation, claiming that there is nothing in Gina’s paperwork to justify supervised visits. After all, Matt “has never been arrested. He has no DUIs.” BOOM, Gina!
In addition to the DUI, Gina, who will appear on the upcoming season of RHOC, has something else that Matt doesn’t. A job. According to Radar Online, Matt was fired as a result of his domestic violence arrest. Who is going to pay for all these missed court dates???

For the sake of the Kirschenheiter kids, I hope those two can keep it together. For my own entertainment purposes, I hope they can’t.
