Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid has had one crazy year. She finally got pregnant through IVF, but then spent the majority of her pregnancy on mandatory bedrest. During that time, MJ had a miscarriage scare.
After MJ gave birth to her son, she had a near-death experience. Her husband, Tommy Feight, thought he was going to be a single father. Luckily, MJ came out ok. And all that drama didn’t stop her from immediately thinking about having a second child.
Unfortunately for MJ, it’s not meant to be. She recently shared a photo of her pregnancy along with an update regarding her ability to give birth to another child.
She wrote, “Since I can never carry a baby again, I’m extremely grateful to those who made sure I had this shoot, and keep this memory forever.” Part of me wonders if she took the photos because people accused her of faking her pregnancy. Either way, the photos were a good idea since she had a high-risk pregnancy and must have known this might not be an option again.

MJ continued, “My body is still healing from pregnancy, my heart is fragile and vulnerable.” I wonder if any of her Shahs castmates checked in on her? According to MJ, no one from the cast came to visit her when she was previously hospitalized.
She added, “I wish I had the compassion I have now, as a new mom, all of my life. But now I am learning to have a deeper appreciation about why growth in life is such an important gift. I want to be better, and stronger.”

If MJ had all that compassion in the past, it probably wouldn’t have made her the reality TV star that she is today. And will this new found compassion extend to her former best friend Reza Farahan? Because it’s going to take a lot more than compassion for him to lift that restraining order against her husband.
