Ever since they started dating, everything Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have done has become front page news. Then, they had an extravagant multi-day wedding in India, incorporating both of their heritages into the festivities.
With every photo, their fans became even more fascinated with their lives and relationship. Their courtship moved very quickly, with the two of them getting engaged just a few months after news of their relationship broke. Then, they got married in the same calendar year. Now, the public wants to know more about their lives with each other. The two of them could provide a pretty entertaining reality show.
In an interview with InStyle, Priyanka revealed that the couple actually does have a reality TV show in the works. However, it’s not actually about the two of them. But, it was inspired by their lavish wedding. If only they filmed their wedding preparation and put that footage into a reality TV show. An Italian family from New Jersey linking up with the Chopra family in their native country could have been a good show!
Instead of documenting the new Mr. and Mrs. Jonas, the show would be based on the weeklong wedding festivities and rehearsal dinner, tentatively titled A Week to Sangeet, “in which couples of every background enter a fervent dance competition.”
Priyanka told the magazine, “Nick came up with it because he was blown away by how the dinner brings people together. She also remarked, “By the end everyone knows each other’s names.”
I’m all for a fusion of cultures. If Priyanka and Nick actually show up to film this show and provide some commentary instead of just signing on as producers and never appearing on camera, it could be an interesting show to watch.
