Tom Schwartz is many things, one of the best men to the wedding of the year, defender of enemy number one and wife Katie Maloney, bar owner to one of the hottest new spots with pal Tom Sandoval, Mumu wearer, homeowner, and now he can add hero (depends on your definition of hero).
One smart and some might say ballsy fan sent the reality star a Venmo request for $50 for his/her commute to his bar Tom Tom.
Most would delete the request but not Tom, who not only paid for the person’s Uber but shared it on social media and gave advice to the lucky fan on what to order. Owning a bar with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd really taught him how to promote give back!
US Weekly shared screenshots from Tom’s Instagram Story showing the Venmo request and Tom’s surprising response. Tom wrote, “LOL this is actually gonna work for them. But they have to tag me in photos when they are there. Safe travels friends!”

Did they end up tagging him in the photos? Did more customers end up Venmo charging Schwartz? Will this become a trend or is it just a one-time thing? Will this be a part of Tom’s storyline during Vanderpump Rules Season 8? It’s definitely more enjoyable to watch than listening to Katie make “jokes” about Tom’s penis many times over. Then again, this is a reality TV show. Nice gestures very rarely make it into the episodes.
As sweet as this was, it is also a good PR move for the Tom Tom junior partner. Although it might lead to an excessive amount of Venmo requests.
