Is it possible to get a secondhand hangover? I can’t help feeling that way when I watch the Summer House cast turning up. They seem to have a never-ending appetite for whispering angel and Twisted Tea.
Even through the slurring and drunken fights, they always manage to make it to the next event. Do they bring IV’s to the house? Do they just have a very regimented Advil schedule? Are they immune to alcohol How do they keep it going? I’m not going to lie, I couldn’t help wondering if some of the Summer House cast members got a bit of help from some other substances.
During a recent episode of the Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino podcast, Hannah Berner discussed her first season on Summer House. And, she was very candid.
Hannah confessed, “I’m like not a good drinker. That was the hardest part: me getting enough outfits for the show and keeping up with the drinking.” And anyone who has seen this show knows that is a lot of drinking to keep up with.
Podcast host Danny Pellegrino remarked, “It is a lot of drinking. How much drinking? It’s literally every weekend, right?”

Hannah told him, “Yeah and like if we wake up and they’re like ‘Oh, we’re going golfing.’ or ‘Oh, we’re going to this event,’ it comes with alcohol.”

Hannah recalled, “Let’s just say one morning Carl [Radke]’s nose was bleeding when we were playing tennis. I was like ‘How much Adderall are you snorting?’ And he was like ‘What?’ And I’m like ‘You’re an idiot.’ I don’t do Adderall, so that’s why sometimes you see me not go out with them.”
In fact, Hannah is just like a lot of us. She revealed, “One day, I stayed home and watched Bravo on my computer. It was very meta. I was watching Shahs of Sunset while they were all out in Montauk. I don’t know how to keep up with it.” It really does seem like a lot to keep up with. If only the Bravo cameras were allowed at the Montauk bars.
