Bravo Suspends Michael Darby From Filming Real Housewives Of Potomac; Ashley Darby Defends Husband After Sexual Assault Allegations

There is some serious drama happening behind the scenes at Real Housewives of Potomac. Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby allegedly grabbed a cameraman’s butt and now he is facing sexual assault charges. Not only that, but now Michael is suspended from filming Real Housewives of Potomac. Will this drama be addressed on the show during Season 4?

In a September 29 statement to USA Today, Bravo said, “Bravo has comprehensive policies and guidelines relating to the safety of cast and crew which production companies are required to follow, in addition to their own protocols they have in place.”

Michael Darby Charged With Sexual Assault After Grabbing Cameraman’s Butt While Filming Real Housewives Of Potomac

The statement said, “Bravo and Truly Original, the production company for ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ have suspended filming with Michael Darby.”

The production company Truly Original sent its own statement to USA Today: “Immediately upon learning of these allegations, we commenced a thorough internal review and, per our protocol, took all appropriate steps to ensure the safe working environment and safe forum for communication for everyone associated with the production. The review is ongoing and we are not able to comment further.”

That same day, Us Weekly reports that Ashley posted a photo of Michael on her Instagram Story with the caption  “No charges filed. No arrest made. No Bravo suspension. No worries. We’ll keep you posted.” Well then….
